Hi! I’m Daniela, founder of OmShaktiOm and the heart and soul behind it. After decades spent working with people in high performance, high stress environments, my life’s purpose is to help you on your unique journey, to mentor and guide you on your path to personal growth and wellbeing.

At the centre of my world – and what kept me going year after year, building and growing businesses – was always a genuine interest in people. It was working with people, caring about them, inspiring and supporting their growth that gave meaning to everything I did. The key insight I got from this experience, and the one which shaped my holistic approach, is that people are at their best when mind, body & soul are in harmony.

The Story of OmShaktiOm
I had been longing for quite some time to enroll in a Yoga Teacher Training course. As I experienced first hand the positive impact daily practice had on my life in the demanding, peak-years of my career, I had an increasingly strong desire to spread the gift of Yoga far and wide. Realising this dream – receiving my certification from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Reith bei Kitzbuehel – came with one amazing and totally unexpected gift. I received a spiritual name: Shakti.
“Shakti” is a Sanskrit term that translates as “power” or “energy” in English. In Hinduism, Shakti is considered the primordial, cosmic energy that animates all life, the dynamic force that propels the universe. Shakti is associated with creation and the nurturing aspect of existence. At individual level, Shakti signifies the inherent power and creative force within each of us, symbolising the energy that enables transformation and growth.
As I learnt about its meaning and symbolism, the path cleared up for my journey forward. It felt natural to add the symbol “Om” – representing the sacred sound of the Universe, and OmShaktiOm was born. Its one purpose: to help us find each other and connect. You – needing help – and me – your mentor and guide.
My Journey
Born and raised in the last decades of communist Romania, the beginning of my journey was equal parts resilience building and learning what is meaningful in life: love and compassion, family and friends, staying connected to nature and yourself.
In my career, spanning three decades in leadership roles in international media companies, I developed businesses, built teams and grew leaders across multiple territories. From all the different areas of my job, it was guiding and supporting people on their growth journey that always made my work both meaningful and rewarding.
With more than five years now, my Yoga journey may look shorter than my business career, but it definitely was equally impactful. As Yoga, Breathwork & Mindfulness became daily companions, significantly improving my life, I just had to start sharing this amazing knowledge – first, with family and friends. The response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to a whole new life chapter.
On my journey, shaped by diverse cultures and challenges, powered by the belief that where there’s a will, there’s a way, I gathered a wealth of experience worth sharing. And there is no doubt: the best time is NOW, to start giving back and to focus all my energy on realising my Purpose.
